The DYNAMIC PRO FLYING FISH SET Y31 is RRD’s most advanced expression of foil development for open ocean downwind and fast freeriding. By integrating the front wing and forward fuselage into a monobloc carbon structure, the Dynamic Pro system achieves unmatched stiffness, efficiency, and hydrodynamic responsiveness – with reduced hardware and a refined fuselage profile that delivers lower drag, smoother acceleration, and higher top-end speed in any condition.
The DYNAMIC PRO FLYING FISH FRONT WING Y31 is shaped around one core principle: keeping you on the swell. With an aspect ratio of 9.3 (9.1 on the 830), a refined profile, and a mixed T800 & MJ40 prepreg carbon layup, it delivers the glide efficiency needed to connect bumps effortlessly and the maneuverability to carve smooth, flowing lines across the swell — without the technical demands of a pure high-aspect downwind setup.
The AR 9.3 profile generates strong lift at low speeds and holds it efficiently across the full surf foil speed range. When the wave slows, the wing stays up. When the section flattens out, you glide through it. When the next bump arrives, you’re already in position.
The lift-to-drag ratio has been tuned specifically for speed, where bridging flat water between swell lines makes the difference between a good session and a great one. The Flying Fish pumps efficiently and holds altitude naturally fewer strokes, more flight, more connected swells per session.
The low-camber profile keeps stall speed low and behavior forgiving at the bottom of the speed range, making it accessible in small surf, easier in variable conditions, and genuinely enjoyable across the full range of swell power. Built from a mixed T800 & MJ40 carbon layup, it’s light enough to feel alive in the surf, stiff enough to respond precisely to every weight shift and edge change.

The DYNAMIC PRO CARBON MAST 85 has been developed as a high performance component designed to deliver stiffness, precision, and direct response for advanced riding. Built in prepreg carbon with a mix of Intermediate and High modulus fibers, it offers an exceptional strength to weight ratio, ensuring efficient power transfer while maintaining a clean and highly reactive feel on the water. With a length of 85 cm, a maximum profile thickness of 15 mm and a 13 cms chord, the mast is engineered to provide the ideal balance between control, glide, and rigidity.
The CARBON REAR FUSELAGES are secured to the mast and the front wing by one of the 40 mm M8 T40 front wing/mast connection screws and an additional 25 mm M6 T30 titanium screw, creating an incredibly strong integrated structure while keeping overall screw count low to minimize drag.
The ADJUSTABLE FLOW ARCH rear wings connected to the rear fuselage with two 16 mm M6 titanium screws. Fine-tuning is achieved through a selection of three dedicated shims, allowing riders to adapt front foot pressure, lift characteristics, and speed control to your individual riding style and conditions.
